Oh my, Emma, what a horrible thing to have happen and to be so personally close. No surprise that the grief of this reality taking precedence over the open hearted innocence you’ve felt living there with the community grief mixed with the gratitude of your own close call…complicated feelings that you’ll ride like a roller coaster for a while.
